EXPERIENCE STRATEGY
I help businesses to define, articulate and express experiences through their brand. I am most curious about translating strategy, which is often rational and cerebral into feeling-experiences the users can connect with
Working collaboratively and at pace with design teams and businesses, I produce coherent, purposeful and experience-led work within a commercially relevant context.
Currently available for freelance contracts within agencies or inhouse
LIFE STRATEGY
Navigating the intersection of experience strategies, workshops, and team management naturally led me to life strategy.
I wondered if I could apply my learnings helping brands articulate values, define goals, set priorities, and help align all of these to their actions, to people.
I reshaped my toolkits and started to use them for myself. I continuously refined them for friends who asked for sessions. I mentored young creatives, enhanced my skills with additional training, and soon I had paying clients. I discovered that whether you're a COO, Creative Director, or a up-and-coming creative, many challenges are universal, and my adaptable toolkits are valuable
YOGA INSTRUCTION
I have been practicing for 14 years and trained at Triyoga, which is BWY accredited.
My teaching aims to undo the afflictions of modern life through focusing on the combination of breath and mindful movement with understanding of healthy alignment.
My explorations of different disciplines and movement techniques flavour my approach.
I like to keep things casual and non-dogmatic so when I teach, I try to respond to all abilities and energy levels, no matter the limitation.
I teach in SE2 on Mondays and am available for group sessions and 1-to-1s
CERAMICS
My passion for collecting vintage ceramics and homeware is verging on problematic.
I also create my own pieces, which are often hand sculpted because i’m in love with seeing human imperfections fired in clay. That, and the fact that at every step of the process, a piece could be destroyed, somehow makes these pieces more beautiful
I mix the sourced pieces and my creations to make ‘capsule collections’ - which i’m hoping to launch here pretty soon. So keep an eye out!
CAT SITTING
Like a lot of people, I started working from home at the start of the pandemic. I haven’t gone back! This means I have flexibility to do all sorts of weird and wonderful things - in this case, look after your kitty around the Abbey Wood area
While you're away I can clear your mail, water your plants and be trusted to respect your privacy, which is super important since you're letting someone into your home.
I used to have a cat when I lived in New Zealand but since moving to London, my husband and I haven't lived in a flat that have allowed pets 😔 So I get my cat fixes through friends and friendly cats hanging out on pavements - worth being late for!
SCOBY FARMING
During covid I was furloughed. While everyone made sourdough, I made Kombucha. With time on my hands and a pinch in my wallet I began to notice that store-bought Kombucha tended to have more sugar and costly to regularly consume. Anyway, I liked mine strong and e alive with all the immunity goodness.
I also started selling the scabby, as they multiplied.
Maybe its time you experimented making your own Kombucha, its super duper easy!
